Lake Koleya has frozen over again so it's time to get back on the ice!!

In the 'free for all' practice session the scores were:

Swan 19,Talarius 15, mari 12, Aneesha and saffi 11,The Admiral 10, iona 9, tasha 8

Now the rules are changed a little to mirror those of the game this idea was taken from.

This game is for the four kajirae - tasha, saffi, iona and mari. A game for the Free will follow and the two best in each game play to decide the best fisher / skater!

Each can pick an NPC slave to help them - so there are 4 teams of 2 players.

On your turn - turns are in strict rotation - you can move either - but not both - of your team members - if you lose one member the other carries on.

Example: the teams might be tasha/meg, saffi/helga, iona/reene and mari/gazelle

tasha, saffi, iona and mari place themselves first - in any order (first come first served) on the single fish hexes.

Say it was mari, then saffi, then tasha, then iona - that fixes the turn order

Then mari places gazelle, saffi places helga, tasha places meg and iona places reene

After all 8 are placed, mari can move herself OR gazelle, then saffi moves herself OR helga, then tasha moves herself OR meg, then iona moves herself OR reene.

Then it repeats each turn ... mari can move herself OR gazelle, then saffi moves herself OR helga, then tasha moves herself OR meg, then iona moves herself OR reene.

Get your skates back on!!

mari searches in the storeroom once more and digs out her skates, hurries down to the lake to join her sisters, places the boots upon bare feet, shivering at the cold and steps lightly onto the lake before gliding tentatively across to F5

carefully but with some trepidation, dons her skates once more ... keeping a careful eye out for saffi ... cautiously moves to C1

testing her skates on the ice and then with grace she moves across the ice and performs a few triple axles before landing on A5, gives a little courtesy to her sisters

calls out "sorry sisters!" double-knotting her skates, mumbles to herself "i'm gonna wear these when we go to the jungle since we can't have sandals" , giggles to herself then smiling out to them, stands on the ice finding her footing then glides to D 4

Now it's time to bring your helpers onto the ice.
First is mari's 'kizzy' then whatever helpers tasha, then iona, then saffi are using. Strict turn order from now on: mari, tasha, iona, saffi and repeat!

mari waves to kizzy from the ice beckoning her to come......kizzy steps awkwardly onto the ice fearing she will fall in and remain near the edge on H2

tasha looks to meg ... motions her forward ... sees her shake her head reluctantly, however steps tentatively until landing safely on F 3

Whispers to melina and sees her step on and find her way over to D8

It's mari's turn to move herself OR kizzy ( not both ) any distance in a straight line that's not blocked by a hole or another player.
Then it's tasha's turn to move herself OR meg
Then it's iona's turn to move herself OR melina.

mari waves to kizzy as she steps lightly across one step to pirouette on F6
