7th April - Monday

A meeting in the Admiral's Chartroom and plans are set. The captured pirate ship - renamed the Troj - will appear to be fleeing back to base. Three squadrons from Helisto will trail it at a discrete distance and behind then the Herlit. The course is due west - towards the Father Islands of Chios, Daphna and Thera. A small island called Thermis, between the Father Islands and World's End where the Pani "Twelve Islands" lie, seems likely to be a joint Pani \ Pirate base ( Information courtesy of Calico the Torturer Pani and the 'interrogation' of the prisoners ).

A first visit by Agrit the Vintner, who gifted Us 4 barrels of Ta wine. Kiaa seeks a home near the lake.

9th April - Wednesday

Griogair's intro "He had been at sea for some time, upon the raft, it sail was made of palm fronds, a small rudder, and a man in tattered blue robes, his beard thick and long, he was nearly skin and bones as he sailed" .... unfortunately the tide swept him back out to sea a few ehn later!!

10th April - Thursday - In Gardens of Kazahr

The archery contest was refereed by Simone. Final result: Aiken 24, fia 20, Talarius 11, saffi 6 and petal 2.
It was a good evening and dances from kallista and ashaki closed the event pleasantly.

An interesting night. Kurus from VML paid a visit. He seems disenchanted with the way things are there and before the end of the night had removed Himself from VML. There was a great deal of very interesting discussion!

The Herlit follows the bait ship Troj and the three Helisto squadrons west, across the wide Thassa, towards the Pani heartlands. To pass the time a game of quoits is played, at which saffi seemed quite adept! Then petal danced a dance she had prepared to the delight of guests and crew!

15th April - Tuesday

Information from Manon: Helisto is invited to a regatta at Cos on 3rd May (Saturday) and "amina has returned to the fold, I've given her permission to come here".
Lots of talking about semantics!!

Just the stalwarts of Helisto this night!! Two archery contests took place!!
In the first - Aneesha 22, Aiken 15, petal 2 ( Referee Talarius )
In the second - tasha 37, saffi 24, Talarius and petal 14 .... After missing with her first arrow, tasha's next 4 scores were 9, 9, 10, 9 ... to set a new record of 37 !!!! ( Referee Aneesha )

A pleasant evening. News of some dances being planned in Kazahr that Helisto's slaves may wish to be a part of. Some advice given to a kajirus.

Talarius got challenged to "Stance" the Sangermitt Saga and accepted. Manon called to announce an extended sabbatical till autumn, so the regatta is deferred till then.

petal and saffi got their ankles measured by Kiaa. Sophus, or His ghost, turned up to say He would probably be judged dead after His death match with Tagas ended badly!

28th April - Monday

Talarius begins to realise the true challenge of this "Sangermitt Stance" challenge from tasha after pulling down 70,000 words worth of scrolls on the story from the top shelves! A special silver anklet gift commissioned from Kiaa was presented to tasha and fitted most prettily. Talks with Kiaa about a property and business premises overlooking the lake. Seems saffi is set a task to make a three course Gorean meal, with drinks to accompany each course.
