The Herlit is heading back to Verr's Hoof Bay when a flash on the horizon as if from a mirror is seen. On closing to investigate a solitary man on a makeshift raft is encountered and brought aboard more dead than alive.
Talarius~FC~Aneesha~Helisto pulls back the sleeve of the collapsed man's tunic to reveal a tattoo. "See - He bears the mark of Port Kar - and the markings below that .... hummm ... I've not seen them before".
